Glassmanet
Glassmanet is an experimental dream pop project run by an audiovisual artist, referred to as "one of the most mysterious figures in Norwegian dream pop/ shoegaze". Since 2020, she has released several short sound waves that have reached listeners, reviewers and radio stations across oceans.
Glassmanet has recently relocated from the depths of the sea to the surface of Oslo and materialized a new band with Hannah Mørtl on bass and Embrik Berge on drums.
Glassmanet has previously performed with FOAMMM and Dråpe in Norway, as well as an exclusive performance on the other side of the planet with Japanese musicians in Tokyo in 2023. In 2024 Glassmanet has transformed into an ambitious trio with the goal of creating unique concert experiences with their experimental and eclectic mix of dream pop, shoegaze and psychedelia.
In November 2022, Glassmanet released her debut microalbum "Glassplanet" - a genre-defying concept album of 11 minutes divided into 8 different tracks that could fit on a 7" vinyl record. "Glassplanet" was featured on the cover of Bandcamp, recommended as "New And Notable" by the site's editorial.
In November 2023 Glassmanet released the EP “EBB” which is the first half of a double EP concept. "EBB" was recommended by, among others, GAFFA who referred to the single from the EP as "everything you need if you like guitar pedal-influenced soundscapes" and Radio Revolt claiming that "there is perhaps no other artists in the Norwegian music scene who hits as hard on the aesthetic front like what Glassmanet does, and it continues on the extremely good, through slightly short, EBB".
Later this year, Glassmanet will release the 2nd half of the double EP “EBB / FLOW”
