Glassmanet
Glassmanet is an Oslo-based trio that creates sound waves inspired by psychedelic rock, dream pop and shoegaze.
The band has reached listeners across the oceans with their audiovisual releases and concerts since 2020.
Referred to as "one of the most mysterious figures in Norwegian dreampop / shoegaze", the audio / visual artist behind Glassmanet relocated from the depths of the sea to the surface of Oslo in 2024, and transformed from a solo project into a band with Hannah Mørtl on bass and Embrik Berge on drums.
In 2024 the band has performed several concerts in Norway, including the festivals by:Larm and Vill Vill Vest, as well as an exclusive gig at Third Man Records in London.
Glassmanet has previously performed with FOAMMM and Dråpe in Norway, and on the other side of the planet with local musicians in Tokyo in 2023.
In 2022, Glassmanet released the debut microalbum "Glassplanet" - a genre-blending concept album of 11 minutes divided into 8 different tracks that could fit on a 7" vinyl record. "Glassplanet" was featured on the front page of Bandcamp.
In 2023 Glassmanet released the EP “EBB” which is the first half of a double EP concept. In November 2024 Glassmanet released the 2nd half “FLOW”.
The band is currently working on their first LP.
